The bedroom range

Beds. Frames in oak, walnut, and upholstered styles. From singles for guest rooms through superkings for primary bedrooms. Headboards in fabric, leather, or wood.

Wardrobes. Freestanding wardrobes in solid hardwood, with hanging space and internal shelving. From single doors to triples. We don't do fitted wardrobes, but we know a good local fitter if that's what you need.

Chests of drawers and tallboys. Solid wood construction. From two-drawer bedsides to seven-drawer tallboys.

Bedside tables. Sized to take a lamp, a book, a glass of water, and not much else. Available with drawers, with shelves, or as a plain side table.

Dressing tables and stools. A small but rotating range, often in painted finishes.

A note on older houses: cottage bedrooms reward furniture one size down from what the catalogue suggests. A low-ceilinged room takes a lower bed frame and a pair of slim bedsides far better than a tall sleigh bed, and the stairs matter as much as the room — we've carried enough wardrobes up cottage staircases to know which pieces make the turn and which don't. Measure the staircase before you fall for anything tall.

A word on mattresses

We don't stock mattresses. The mattress decision is genuinely individual and best made at a specialist mattress retailer where you can lie down for fifteen minutes on each option. Happy to recommend a few good ones locally if asked.

Brands on the floor

Hills Furniture, IFD, and a few smaller hardwood makers. Specifics vary by what's on the floor. Visit to see the current range.

Bedroom furniture questions

  • Do you sell mattresses?

No — and honestly, you are better served by a specialist mattress retailer where you can lie on each option properly. We are happy to recommend a few good local ones.

  • Will a new bed or wardrobe fit up cottage stairs?

Often, but not always — it depends on the turn of the staircase and whether the piece dismantles. Bring a photo and the staircase measurements, or book a home visit and we will check before you order.

  • Do you deliver bedroom furniture?

Yes. Delivery is free on furniture orders over £500 across the Cotswolds and surrounding areas.
