The family behind Canwell Interiors
A family-run furnishings showroom at the Cotswold Design Centre in Broadway, run by people who care more about getting the room right than closing the sale.

How we got here
Canwell Interiors has been at the Cotswold Design Centre in Broadway since 2009. Gary and Gemma run the place.
The showroom grew out of a simple idea: that buying furniture, carpets, and curtains shouldn't require either a six-month design project or a trip to a soulless out-of-town retail park. Most people want somewhere they can walk in, see things in person, get honest advice, and walk out with a plan.
That's what Canwell is. A real showroom, with real stock, run by people who'll tell you when something's wrong as well as when it's right.
Gary and Gemma
Gary and Gemma run Canwell day-to-day. Between them they cover the furniture floor, the carpet and curtain library, and the consultation table where the design help happens.
What we do differently
There are plenty of places to buy furniture. What we do that most of them don't is help. We sit down with you, look at your photos, listen to what the room is for, and help you choose pieces that will actually work together.
That help is free. There's no project fee, no commission on the brands we recommend, and no upselling. We make our money on the products, not on the advice.
For people who want full bespoke design service across a whole house, our sister showroom Saverys of Broadway handles that. For people who want to buy a single sofa and have someone help them choose the right one, that's us.
The wider family
Canwell Interiors is part of a small family of businesses. Saverys of Broadway and Saverys of Ludlow are our bespoke design houses, for whole-home projects with bigger budgets and longer timelines. Xshowhome.com is our online range, with delivery across the UK.
