Blinds
Blinds in Broadway, measured and fitted
Roman, roller, wooden, Venetian, perfect-fit, vertical. All measured at home and fitted by people who do this every week.

What blinds do we do
Pretty much every kind. The choice usually comes down to four things: how much light you want to let in, how much you want to be seen from outside, the room (kitchens and bathrooms have different needs from bedrooms), and what fits the rest of the scheme.
The right answer is rarely the one you arrived with. Come in and we'll talk it through.
Home measures are free within a 30-mile radius of Broadway — that covers Cheltenham, Evesham, Worcester, Stratford-upon-Avon, and everywhere in between. See all the areas we serve.
The types, in plain English

Roman blinds
Soft, fabric, folds into pleats when raised. Best for living rooms, bedrooms, and anywhere you want softness rather than utility. Made-to-measure in any fabric we stock.

Roller blinds
Simple, clean, modern. Best for kitchens, bathrooms, and rooms where you want light control without fuss. Plain, patterned, blackout, or moisture-resistant.

Wooden Venetian blinds
Real wood or wood-effect, with adjustable slats. Best for studies, dressing rooms, and bay windows. Warm and timeless.

Aluminium Venetian blinds
Slim, modern, low-profile. Best for offices, kitchens, and minimal schemes.

Perfect-fit blinds
Frame-mounted, no drilling. Best for tilt-and-turn windows, conservatories, and rented properties.

Vertical blinds
Floor-to-ceiling slats. Best for very tall windows, sliding doors, and patio doors.

Which blind for which room
Kitchens and bathrooms want moisture-resistant rollers or aluminium Venetians — easy to wipe, unbothered by steam. Bedrooms want blackout rollers, or Romans with a blackout lining; a Roman adds the softness a bedroom usually wants anyway. Sitting rooms take Romans or wooden Venetians, depending on whether the room leans soft or tailored. Studies and home offices suit wooden or aluminium Venetians, because slats manage screen glare better than anything else. Conservatories and tilt-and-turn windows are what perfect-fit was invented for. And very tall glass — sliding doors, patio doors — is vertical blind territory, whatever you think of vertical blinds.
None of this is a rule. It's where we'd start the conversation.
Blinds questions, answered
How long do made-to-measure blinds take?
Three to four weeks from measure to fitting for most blind types. We measure, make, and fit, and we test the operation before we leave.
Is the measuring really free?
Yes, anywhere within a 30-mile radius of Broadway — which covers Cheltenham, Evesham, Worcester, and Stratford-upon-Avon. The quote covers the blind, the measure, and the fitting, with no hidden extras.
Which blinds work in bathrooms and kitchens?
Moisture-resistant rollers and aluminium Venetians handle steam and splashes best. We would steer away from fabric Romans in a bathroom unless it is a big, well-ventilated one.
Can you fit blinds without drilling?
Yes — perfect-fit blinds mount to the window frame itself with no drilling, which makes them right for uPVC windows, conservatories, and rented properties.
