What a consultation actually involves

You sit down with one of us at the consultation table in the middle of the showroom. We look at your photos, talk through what the room is for, look at what you've already got that's staying, and work out what pieces would actually finish the room.

We pull samples off the wall, off the shelves, and off the floor. We hold them next to each other. We discuss what works, what doesn't, and what you'd want to live with for the next ten years.

You leave with a written recommendation, fabric and carpet samples to live with at home for a week, and a quote if you decide to go ahead. No pressure to decide on the day. No commission on what you choose.

What to bring along

Photos of the room. Phone snaps are fine. Several angles is better than one.

A rough plan or measurements. Even hand-drawn. The size of the room and where the windows and doors are.

The pieces that are staying. Either bring a photo or be ready to describe them.

Anything that's caught your eye. Screenshots, magazine cuttings, paint chips, a fabric you've been carrying around in your bag. The more we have to work with, the more useful the conversation.

An idea of budget. Not exact. Just a rough sense, so we can point you to the right pieces.
