Description
Distinctive stepped proportions give the Keiichi Ishtar Gate Travertine Table Lamp its sculptural character. Crafted from natural travertine, the base features a series of softly rounded, graduated forms that extend outward through the upper section before narrowing towards the bottom, creating a balanced silhouette with a strong architectural quality. The natural variation and tactile surface of the travertine further enhance its sense of depth and character.
The considered form allows the Ishtar Gate to work as a decorative object as much as a source of light. Its substantial stone base brings warmth and texture to consoles, sideboards and bedside tables, while the graduated profile creates visual interest from every angle. Pair with natural timber, ceramics and other stone accessories for a layered arrangement, or allow the lamp to stand alone as a sculptural focal point.
