About the brand
Riva is a British soft-furnishings house that builds its range around fabric. Cushions, throws, and lengths for curtains and blinds, in linens, weaves, velvets, and seasonal prints. We carry Riva because the fabric weight is honest, the colour palettes work in older Cotswold rooms, and the range is small enough that we can sit down with a customer and pick out the three or four cushions that actually pull a room together.

Why feel Riva fabric in person
Soft furnishings are the part of a room that gets touched the most and photographs the worst. The weight of a linen cushion, the pile depth of a velvet, the brushed feel of a wool throw — none of it carries through a screen. The half hour spent in the showroom feeling the difference between two boucle weaves saves the disappointment of opening a parcel that looks nothing like the website photograph.
