What's in the price

We give one quote, all in. It covers the carpet itself, the underlay, the grippers, the door bars and thresholds, the fitting, the removal of your old carpet, and moving furniture in and out of the room. No top-ups, no extras invoiced afterwards.

The only things we add separately are very heavy or fitted items (pianos, fitted wardrobes, hot tubs). Most jobs don't need them.

How a fitted carpet job runs

  1. Come in, or call

Have a look at the sample wall, get a feel for what you like. We're happy to send you home with two or three sample books for a week. No deposit, no commitment.

  2. We come and measure

Free, anywhere within a 30-mile radius of Broadway. We bring your chosen samples to the room itself so you can see them in your own light, next to your wall colour and the furniture you're keeping.

  3. We quote, in writing

One number. Carpet, underlay, grippers, fitting, old carpet removal, furniture moves. If anything else is needed, it's listed separately so you can decide.

  4. We fit, within two to three weeks

The same fitters we've worked with for years. Clean, careful, and finished when they say they will be.

Who turns up

The fitters who turn up at your door are the same team we've worked with since the showroom opened. Boots off, dust sheets down, furniture moved out and back, old carpet rolled and taken away. You'll get a tidy room and a fitter who'll talk you through anything that needs explaining on the day.

Questions people ask

  • How long does it take from measure to fitted?

Usually two to three weeks, depending on stock and which fitter is next available. Faster if you're flexible on dates.

  • Do you move the furniture?

Yes, included in the price. The only exception is very heavy or fitted items (pianos, full fitted bedrooms, hot tubs).

  • Do you take away the old carpet?

    Yes, included.

  • Can I bring my own carpet?

We don't fit third-party carpet. Our fitters work with our suppliers and we can't guarantee a job we haven't supplied the materials for.

  • Do you do stairs?

Yes. Stairs are the trickiest carpet job there is, so it's worth coming in to talk through pile direction, the bend, and any spindles before deciding.

  • Sloping floors in an old Cotswold cottage?

Often. Older buildings need a more experienced fitter and sometimes a different underlay choice. We sort that.

  • Do you do hallways and landings as one continuous run?

Where the floor layout allows, yes. We'll discuss where joins are needed on the day of the measure.
