Choosing the right kind of blind
Six common types, each with a different job. Roman blinds are soft fabric and best for living rooms. Roller blinds are simple and best for kitchens and bathrooms. Wooden Venetian blinds are warm and timeless. Aluminium Venetians are slim and modern. Perfect-fit blinds are frame-mounted with no drilling. Vertical blinds suit very tall windows and patio doors.

The blind types, briefly
Roman
Soft fabric that gathers into pleats when raised. Best for living rooms and bedrooms.
Roller
Single panel that rolls up. Best for kitchens and bathrooms. Plain, patterned, blackout, moisture-resistant.
Wooden Venetian
Real wood or wood-effect slats. Best for studies, dressing rooms, bay windows.
Aluminium Venetian
Slim metal slats. Best for offices, kitchens, and minimal schemes.
Perfect-fit
Frame-mounted, no drilling. Best for tilt-and-turn windows, conservatories, rented properties.
Vertical
Floor-to-ceiling slats. Best for very tall windows, sliding doors, patio doors.

Free, anywhere within a 30-mile radius of Broadway. We check the window type, the frame, the recess depth, and whether you want recess-fit (inside the frame) or face-fit (covering the frame).
